FINAL REFLECTION

Activity 3B:

I liked this work to do in classes because I felt I progress in my grammar, my composition of sentences, my punctuation, etc. All thanks to the teacher that always answer my questions, doubts and for giving me new ways to do homeworks like this with originals and excellents new tools.

"FUTURE PLANS"

My future plans are very different from what most people I know want. I don’t want to be a teacher. I don’t want to be a fisherman. I don’t want to be a miner or something like that. I want to be an excellent man of the audiovisual and relate about all what is my interest, and in addition show the good, the bad and the ugly about all my experiences; we’re not perfect.       Of course I would also create audiovisual works that interpret my feelings (happiness, angry, lonely, sad, uncertainty, etc.) and point of view about that things.

To get that, I need to leave Iquique to study cinema because in Iquique doesn’t exist. For that reason I will go to another city to be the best to create great movies, short-films and documentaries of course. It’s a necessity for me to do this because a long time ago I dreamed of create my own audiovisual productions. Nevertheless I have been all my life in this city and one day I will be doing my dreams reality.

Final reflections

This process of writing was entertaining because this was in the computer and this is a way easier for write and delete the mistake that I wrote. In the texts that I did, I learned to work in groups and explain with more details stories and descriptions, because I’m bad with these types of activities, but now is more easier for me. Finally, I felt good giving and receiving feedback because I learned more.

How to study for a test?

You can study for a test in various ways that could be easier for you to learn. The first way is study in a comfortable place noiseless but never in your bed because you can fall asleep. You can put a pillow in you seat and sit down straight in front of your desk and start to study without distractions. You have to turn out your cellphone and TV and If you want, you can put some of music but only study music that you can trace in youtube.

 The second way that you can study is using different colors in your books, in this way you can remember everything in the color that you detached in your book and when you read a text this will be less boring. You can also underline the most important, to do a brainstorm, and even use flashcards, you can memorize in a simple way and entertaining in this last form.

The third way is organise a study schedule, you have to study one hour everyday and it will be easier for the day before your test. And also you can buy a notebook for organise your study days and your life in general. For example, you can write in there the days that you have test and work.

Finally, It’s not difficult to have good results in your exams, you just have to apply all these forms to study in a continuous way

Final reflections

I think that this activity was very newfangled and fun. Doing this blog and all the texts helped me to improve my writing and develop new ideas. I also had the opportunity to work with a difference classmate that I have never worked before. Writing on a computer is better that on paper because is easier and faster correct the mistakes and finally I liked receiving feedback of my classmates and the teacher because It was cool to have people reading concentrated what I wrote.  

Learning a new language

Throughout our lives is good to learn another language to expand our knowledge. Learning a second or a third language gives you bigger opportunities to work or study, because you could live in another country and go to study abroad. Knowing more than one language facilitates you the speech at the time of travel or working with foreign people. Living in Chile doesn’t give you the chance of practice the new language because the countries that are next to it speak spanish like us, so there is no necessity of learn another one.

In Europe the situation is very different because almost every country has a different language so it is important to learn each of them  in order to understand the native speakers when you travel to those countries or if somebody foreign wants to talk to you.

In my opinion learning another language opens the world to you and gives you more employability. A new language is an excellent tool for everyone.

“The Black Hole”

In an office, a lonely and boring man works like as everyday. He has to print a couple of documents because his boss ordered him. The printer doesn’t work, then he kicks to the apparatus and suddenly it appears a sheet with a strange black round spot, like a “black hole”.

He, carefree, continue with his work. Soon, he realizes that the “black hole” is just that, a real “black hole”. The man is really surprised because he can through anything putting the paper in any surface. For example, he takes a sweet from vending machine and he’s really surprised, but now he wants a fish even bigger, he sees the private room with a perverse look, he enters in the room and starts to steal a lot of money from the safe deposit box with much greed. He doesn’t stop until, inadvertently enters all his body in the box and finally the sheet falls and he, for his greed, locked in the box.

John & Dylan

This story is about a man named John that had a refrigerator live named Dylan. One day, the man went to his kitchen because he wanted to drink something. He opened the refrigerator and he took out a drink. He tried to close the refrigerator and the handle fell down in the floor, John and Dylan were surprised. The man got out of his house with a catalogue store. Dylan saw it, he was sad because he thought that his owner wanted to buy a new refrigerator. When John left his house, the refrigerator left the house after. He walk outside without direction sadly thinking about his owner.

When John arrived to his home the refrigerator wasn’t there and he said, “Noooo!” he went quickly to look for him. While the refrigerator was in the way, Dylan saw a shop window with the news refrigerator in sale and he looked at old refrigerator in the trash, Dylan run fast in the street and his picture about he and John fell down.

John arrived to the same place that the picture was and he asked to the news refrigerators, “where is he?” (showing the picture) and they didn’t answer, but the little toaster pointed at the left. John went to the place that Dylan was and he showed him the book that John had. John explained that he was bought a new handle for him and Dylan understood everything. At the end, they went to their home and John put the new handle in Dylan. The refrigerator hugged his owner lustily and they was so happy because everything was like always.

"Runaway"

Like every morning Stanley woke up at seven o’clock. He took a shower, got dressed and finally went to the kitchen to have breakfast. He said hello to his refrigerator named Chillie and took a bottle of orange juice as usual. But the difference this morning it is that the refrigerator’s handle broke up and both of them felt bad about it. In that moment Stanley took a magazine and wrote something of that, but Chillie didn’t see what he wrote so he feel worried. Stanley said, “I knew this would happen someday”. And after that Stanley went out and Chillie could see the magazine. It was about modern refrigerators and he thought Stanley would replace him so he felt very sad, and therefore he decided to runaway.

He got up and started walking. He got out the apartment and saw the street and the department stores with new, big and very fancy refrigerators that laughed at him. He felt worse and started to running.

At that time Stanley came back home and saw that Chillie wasn’t at home. He screamed, “No!”, and went to looking for him. He went out too, and started to ask, “Have you seen my refrigerator?” until a little toaster told him where Chillie was.

Stanley found Chillie sat between trash crying and said to him, “What did you do? Why are you here?” Chillie pointed at the magazine, and Stanley finally understood. “I have never wanted to replace you”, he said. “I only was looking for this”, said Stanley in a kind way and showed to Chillie the new handle for him. They hugged and went back home to continue with their normal life as they have always do.

“Go down to rabbit hole”

This is the story about Jesse that growed up with a big passion and special love for rabbits, he had a lot of rabbits, an entire room with a total of twenty rabbits. He had a beautiful wife, called Jane. They were happy long time, but one day one of his rabbits suffered an accident and he worried even more since that day. Jane started to feel jealous for his rabbits because Jesse paid more attention to the rabbits than her. She was angry and discussed with him for a lot of things, specially because their relationship was not as it used to be. He didn’t take a walk with her anymore and neither wrote letters like before. One day Jesse called his wife on her mobile, but she ignored his calls, she didn’t answer. Secretly, she had an affair with another man.

Jane met her lover at her work. He was a new employe and he was very nice with her since the first day. He was her new assistant, so the were constantly seeing each other and sharing time: They had lunch together and the same office. One day when she arrived at work, Jane saw in her desk a beautiful flower arrangement with her name and with a note that said, “Boss, I love to work with you, but I can’t be professional if I am with you because I like you, and as I know you are married and I have no opportunity, I quit. Good luck.”. In that moment the lady ran and down the stairs looking for the assistant to tell him that she liked him back. When she found him, she hugged and started dating. And since they were together she was very careful to not let any detail out for her husband found out. But one day when she was with her lover at a café, Jesse saw her kiss the guy and he got very very mad. He went home and waited for Jane, but she did not come home until very late night, and he called her, but she didn’t answer. Two hours later, when it was ten o’clock, she got home.

Jesse was sitting on the sofa waiting for her and when he saw her said, “I know everything”. Jane looked at him surprised and Jesse spoke again: “I loved you, why did you do this to me?” Jane said, “I hate your rabbits and I can’t go on with this. I don’t hold out anymore,” and  suddenly he produced a gun of his pants and he pointed it to his wife. The man looked her and he was so angry that he aim her in the head. She said, “Sorry, I promise that I will never do this again” and he answered, “It is already done”. Jesse shot his wife and she died. Their neighbors listened the shot and they went to the husband’s house. The door was open and the neighbors got into the house, they looked the body’s wife in the floor and they phoned to emergency. The police came in ten minutes and they took the husband to police station. In the next day, he went to the trial and the husband is sent to prison for 10 years. One month after that, Jesse was so worried for his rabbits, and in the prison he could do one call. He phoned to his sister and he asked to her if she knew something about his rabbits and she answered, “The rabbits died a few days after you sent to prison, they died for starvation”.

10 years later, he got out of prison, and he decided to buy some rabbits. He went to the pet shop and saw a beautiful woman buying rabbits too. In that moment he wanted to talk to her, but a man came into the store and holded her hands and kissed her, so Jesse just bought the rabbits and went home alone.

Music Festival

Music festivals are usually in summer and you can listen to live music there. This picture takes place in the afternoon with many people enjoying the music. They are singing and dancing with their arms up. I can see a girl in the shoulders of a man with her arms open, and she has a headband of flowers and many bracelets of different colors. I can also notice a clear sky although I can see many people with sunglasses, shorts, caps, and even someone without t-shirt because it is a hot day as well. This festival is in an outdoors and therefore there are many trees. Music festivals are the representation of youth, so every teenager should go to at least one in their life.

"THE BEST MOMENT IN THE DAY"

It’s a nice photo of one special moment in the day, the sunset. The photo shows Cavancha beach with all beautiful colors of the sunset, with a sun close enclosure to get alone while the tourists, villagers, athletes and even animals, all of them see the inspiring landscape and feel nostalgia. In the middle of the sunset, while all of them there discuss among them, while they play with the sand, while all of them rest in the beach.

Also we can see in the image one good composition of photographer. The photo is straight, the backlit is well done as the colors in the photo. The photo achieve transmit feelings about what is a sunset in one of most beautiful beaches in Chile.

London City at Night

London city at night is a very beautiful place to take pictures. As you can see in the image, there is a lot of color even at this dark time of the day. At night every store projects colorful lights at the front of their facades to call the attention of the people who walk in the street at that time at the end of the working day or just for a relaxing moment with family, friends or by themselves. Besides, the front lights there are the street lights that give more brightness. In this picture it can be observed a characteristic double-decker bus that is an icon of England, and specially London city. Downtown offers a lot of options to have a great time. There are different shops like clothing stores, restaurants and cafés for you to choose and spend the afternoon until night. London city is a wonderful option to have a lovely moment.
